1. Texas Pinball Festival Preview

The Texas Pinball Festival is finally here! It will have over 400 pinball machines, a huge Vendor Hall, lots of seminars, good food, the TWIPY Pinball Awards, and on and on. Here are just a few things you’ll want to check out:

  • Play the updated Oktoberfest, the updated Cosmic Carnival, the Multi-Bingo machine, the head-to-head Cosmic Cart Racing, and loads of other machines
  • Check out the Jersey Jack Pinball seminar Friday – maybe we’ll see something cool there?
  • Check out Steve Ritchie’s Seminar Friday – he said in a recent Facebook post that “Secrets would be revealed” – maybe some hints or nuggets on his next game?
  • Check out the Coin-Op Carnival publication and seminar Friday – Nick Baldridge and Ryan Claytor will be joined by pinball historian, Gordon Hasse

3. Munsters Topper and New Code

The Stern Insiders saw their first glimpse of the Munsters topper last week! It is an Interactive Cuckoo Clock, and Stern also shared a video of a prototype. The video features a spinning clock, a raven that emerges out of the clock, and lots of flashing lights. You can check out a picture of the topper here.

4. Multimorphic Announces 4-Way Network Connected Pinball

Multimorphic announced last week that they will have 4 player head-to-head style races on Cosmic Cart Racing at the Texas Pinball Festival!! Check out the announcement on Facebook here:

5. Alice in Wonderland and Magic Girl not coming in 2019 from deeproot
