Stunning revelation from Tim Arnold, owner of Pinball Hall of Fame. Survey company botched it, so $10 million building is on eight feet of land owned by Dream Hotel. Everyone’s lawyering up. pic.twitter.com/AN9e48q4mw

The Pinball Network: George Gomez and Tanio Klyce Interview
Last week, Just Another Pinball Podcast of The Pinball Network interviewed Stern Pinball’s George Gomez and Tanio Klyce! Here are just a few highlights:
On if there is correlation between fun and complexity:
Gomez: “…it is interesting because some people think that making great stuff means putting the kitchen sink in. And it doesn’t. There is no correlation between fun and complexity…it is not a requirement. There are complex things that are fun, but…I’ve preached for a long time – I say to these guys, give me five great things. Don’t give me 18. Give me five great things…what are those things?”
On the effects of COVID:
Gomez: “The biggest hurdle in COVID [with working remotely] is that spontaneity of the hallway conversation…and Deadpool is a game that benefited from a lot of that. Remember the SNNNKKT shot? The SNNNKKT shot was one of those “wouldn’t it be cool if”…and in like 20 minutes I had it kind of cobbled together, and it wasn’t working great, but…a great player- I’m dragging guys in…great shooters…Zach [Sharpe], can you hit this? [Keith] Elwin, can you hit this? Because if they can hit it, anyone can hit it.”
Challenge modes for Deadpool and big things may be coming in September:
Gomez: “You never know what is going to happen in the next few months. I think that in September – in the vicinity of September – you may be some amazing super cool stuff for a bunch of your games…and Deadpool might be one of those games [laughs] …we are both collaborating right now, and we’re both collaborating on some amazing stuff that you’re going to see in September, stuff that is going to impact on a lot of games on the line. That is what we’re working on right.”
They also discuss all things Deadpool – check out the full podcast here!!
